Chocolate Waffles

In Belgium we love chocolate and waffles so enjoy this keto-friendly recipe for keto chocolate waffles!

Instructions

For about 9-10 small waffles

  1. Mix 100g almond flour with 20g coconut flour, 30g erythritol (or other sweetener of choice), pinch of salt and half a teaspoon of baking powder.
  2. In another bowl, mix 60ml almond milk with 4 eggs and a dash of vanilla flavoring.
  3. Combine the dry and wet ingredients and stir well together.
  4. Gently grease your waffle iron a little and bake your waffles. Let them cool down a bit afterwards.

For 6 large waffles

  1. Mix 100g almond flour with 20g coconut flour, 30g Steviala crystal sweet cinnamon (or any other sweetener of your choice), 1el cocoa powder, pinch of salt and half a teaspoon of baking powder.
  2. In another bowl, mix 60ml almond milk with 4 eggs and a dash of vanilla flavouring.
  3. Combine the dry and wet ingredients and stir well together.
  4. Grease your waffle iron a little and bake your waffles. Let them cool down a little afterwards.
  5. Serve with erythritol frost, red fruit and chocolate sauce (melt 50g OKONO chocolate with 1 tbsp coconut oil for this).

  • 100g almond flour
  • 20g coconut flour
  • 30g Steviala crystal sweet cinnamon (or erythritol or another sweetener)
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • ½tl baking powder
  • Salt
  • 60ml almond milk
  • 4 eggs
  • Dash of vanilla flavouring

For the finishing touch

  • Red fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
  • 50g OKONO chocolate
  • 1tl coconut oil and erythritol frosting
