4 Keto friendly cocktails/mocktails for the summer

4 x summer in a glass! (keto-proof ofcourse 😉)


The keto-lifestyle… You limit your intake of carbohydrates and sugars, but unfortunately alcohol also belongs in this category. But not to worry. This summer, we provide you with low-carb cocktails and mocktails so you can enjoy a nice drink whenever you want!

Keto cocktail 1: The ketoproof Espresso Martini.

A rich cocktails for coffee lovers.

Steps:

  1. Take a cocktail shaker, add ice and the following ingredients: 45ml Martini Bianco/Vodka, 1 shot espresso, half a teaspoon (unsweetened) cocoa powder, 30 ml unsweetened coconut cream and a few drops of vanilla extract.
  2. Shake until the cocktail is cool to the touch and pour into a chilled glass.
  3. Garnish with cocoa nibs and coffee beans.
  4. Taste and add extra sweetener (such as erythritol) if necessary.

Enjoooooy!

Keto mocktail 1: Cup of Tea

A calm and refreshing iced tea, finished with bright colors.

Steps:

  1. Take a flavor of tea that you like and let it steep as directed.
  2. Fill a long drink glass with crushed ice.
  3. Mix the tea with a sugar-free syrup and add a few crushed red berries.
  4. Top up with sparkling water.
  5. Finish with edible flowers, berries and lemon slices.

Keto cocktail 2: Strawberry Moketo

A ketoproof version of the Strawberry Mojito.

Steps:

  1. Crush a few strawberries with mint leaves and keep them aside.
  2. Take a glass and fill it with crushed ice.
  3. Take a shaker, add the strawberries with mint, a little erythritol, 50ml rum
  4. and shake!
  5. Top up the mixture with flavoured sparkling water. (For example Spa Touch Mint)
  6. Pour into the glass and garnish with extra strawberries and mint leaves.

Keto mocktail 2: Flower Power.

A delicious and fresh iced tea with Oriental flavors.

Steps:

  1. Take the "Butterfly Pea Flower" tea and let it steep as directed.
  2. Fill a glass with ice cubes and add the cooled tea.
  3. Squeeze a lime wedge (as much as desired) and add grated ginger.
  4. For sweetness, you can add a little erythritol.
  5. Stir and finish with a wedge of lime, slices of ginger, lemongrass and edible flowers.
