Shakshuka with Stone Age Bread

Perfect dish for any occasion.
  • INGREDIENTS

    • Stone Age Bread
    • 1 red bell bell pepper
    • 1 yellow bell pepper
    • 1 green bell pepper
    • 200g mushrooms
    • 2 cloves garlic
    • 1/2 red onion
    • 1 tablespoon ghee or coconut oil
    • 400g diced tomatoes
    • cumin powder
    • oregano
    • paprika powder
    • fresh parsley
    • 4 eggs
  • INSTRUCTIONS

    • Chop the peppers, mushrooms, garlic and red onion.
    • Heat ghee or coconut oil in a pan.
    • Add the garlic and onion. Fry them until they are soft.
    • Add the bell peppers and mushrooms.
    • Now add the diced tomatoes, along with the fresh parsley (finely chopped), cumin powder, oregano and paprika powder.
    • Season with salt and pepper.
    • Let simmer on low heat.
    • Make four “holes” and break an egg into each.
    • Cover the pan with a lid and cook the eggs until almost set (about 4 minutes).
    • Top with parsley and some crumbled goat or feta cheese.
    • Serve with Stone Age Bread.
